The Killing Frost

The night of November 3rd saw our “killing frost”. For me, this meant the end of the raspberry picking and the end of the hollyhocks. Here’s a photo as the sun peaked over the hills on November 4th and took one last look at the flowers of 2017.

The Surface

It’s easy to get swept up in the overall vista of dawn or the lake or the sky. Heck, it happens to me all of the time. It’s fun to also enjoy the myriad detail which make up the ensemble. You’ll get dirty, but … that’s part of the fun too 🙂
